Worldpay is hiring a Technical Lead, Agentic Commerce Engineering to define and build secure, reliable payment infrastructure for AI agents that discover products, build carts, and initiate purchases. The role leads API and SDK development, agent identity and authentication, tokenization, fraud signals, transaction visibility, and interoperable payment standards; provides hands-on technical leadership, architecture reviews, mentoring, and engineering standards; and partners with internal teams and external commerce and standards partners. Candidates need 8+ years of software engineering experience, cloud-native engineering experience, practical AI-agent systems knowledge, and proven technical leadership experience. The position offers an estimated annual salary of $127,500 to $192,525.
