Description
The CEX R&D Manager reports to the CTO and owns research and development management and delivery for a centralized cryptocurrency exchange’s core systems, including trading, matching, market data, wallet, risk control, clearing and settlement, account, and back-office systems. The role manages the engineering team, translates business requirements into technical solutions, participates in high-concurrency architecture decisions, optimizes system stability and performance, and supports hiring and team development. It requires a bachelor’s degree, at least 8 years of software development experience including 3+ years managing engineering teams, hands-on centralized-exchange experience, and expertise in high-concurrency trading systems, backend technologies, distributed systems, security, and compliance.
