Description
Lam is hiring a Cost Performance Engineer to support new-product-introduction costing and cost reduction across manufacturing processes and supplier operations. The role covers costing complex mechanical parts and assemblies, troubleshooting costing challenges, developing costing practices, reviewing designs and engineering drawings, coordinating pilot production, performing teardown and benchmarking analysis, and preparing handoff packages for high-volume manufacturing. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, production, or industrial engineering with 8 years of experience, or a related diploma with 10+ years of experience, along with manufacturing, DFM/DFC, OMS, process planning, and BOM knowledge. The role offers On-site Flex or Virtual Flex work arrangements.
