Description
The Tech Lead – Data Engineering & BI will build and operate batch and streaming data pipelines on AWS Glue and Spark, maintain the Glue Data Catalog, develop Power BI semantic models and reports, and write optimized SQL. The role also sets engineering standards, reviews and mentors engineers, estimates work, and serves as the offshore technical point of contact for the onshore Data & BI manager and partner teams. It requires 8–10 years of data engineering or ETL experience, hands-on expertise in Spark, AWS Glue, Power BI, SQL, and dimensional modeling, plus experience leading a small engineering team or owning a workstream end to end. The position is hybrid in Hyderabad, India, with three days working from the office, and offers a CTC of 30.7 LPA.
