Q-Block Computing is hiring a full-time permanent Technical Lead — Orchestration Control in Ottawa to own the architecture, roadmap, and delivery of the real-time control stack for quantum hardware platforms. The role spans embedded firmware, real-time systems, networking, and application-layer software, including system performance specifications, nanosecond-precision synchronization, integration testing, build-versus-buy decisions, technical risk management, and leadership of a cross-functional engineering team. Candidates need a relevant bachelor's degree, at least 10 years of professional experience in embedded systems, real-time control, or distributed systems, and at least 4 years in technical leadership. The position offers $120,000–$175,000 CAD per year and extended health, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits.
