Google Cloud is hiring a Technical Lead for its Persistent Disk and Hyperdisk IO Performance team. The role leads the team delivering world-leading performance for the PD Backup family of products, sets technical priorities and roadmaps, oversees systems design and code quality, and provides performance and development coaching. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of C++ programming experience, 7 years of experience with large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute, storage, or hardware architecture, and 5 years each in technical and people or team leadership.
