MBDA is hiring a Technical Lead for its Sparkworks RF Directed Energy Weapons programme team. The role leads a multi-domain team through electromagnetic modelling, electrical architecture assessment, testing, and design activities, collaborates with the Design Lead on design decisions and trade studies, and is accountable for project management and budgetary management. Candidates need a degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline, experience in engineering development, leadership, project planning, and at least one relevant technical area such as high-power RF systems, electrical architecture, electromagnetic modelling, RF testing, or EMC design. The position offers a salary of circa £65,000, up to 21% bonus, pension contributions, flexible working, and requires British citizenship and willingness to undertake DV clearance.
