Universal Avionics is hiring a Technical Manager, AI, Software & Systems Engineering in Tucson, Arizona, on an onsite 9/80 schedule. The role leads technical direction across AI/ML, computer vision, image processing, sensing, software, and systems engineering; connects multidisciplinary teams; guides architecture and integration; evaluates emerging technologies; leads technical reviews; and partners with program management to advance airborne products from concept through delivery. Candidates need strong AI/ML and intelligent systems experience, software and systems engineering knowledge, multidisciplinary problem-solving and technical leadership experience, and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
