Description
BlueCat is hiring a Technical Manager to lead its DNS Resolver software engineering team, which develops and maintains a high-performance DNS server written in Rust with AWS, Azure, and GCP integrations. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with mentorship, architecture participation, code review, performance-sensitive software development, cloud management service evolution, and coordination with Product, Release Management, and other engineering teams. Candidates need at least seven years of software development experience, substantial people or technical leadership experience, and expertise in Rust, Java, or Go, along with containerization, REST APIs, networking, and cloud-native platform experience. The position offers an annual salary of CAD 160,000–180,000 plus discretionary bonus participation.
