Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Technical Manager for its lumber mill in Rome, Georgia. The role leads manufacturing processes, lumber quality, optimization systems, process capability, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement while partnering with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Controls, Engineering, Wood Supply, Integrated Planning, and Commercial teams. Responsibilities include analyzing manufacturing data, troubleshooting optimization systems, leading quality management and corrective actions, supporting new product development, and developing technical resources. The position requires industrial manufacturing leadership experience, data analysis, and Microsoft Office proficiency; a bachelor's degree, lumber manufacturing experience, and manufacturing analytics experience are preferred.
