L3Harris is hiring a Technical Manager – Software Engineering in Rochester, New York to lead a team of 15-25 software engineers working on complex embedded software solutions for defense and space-related mission-critical systems. The role combines technical leadership, staff management, and program execution across the full software lifecycle, including architecture, design, code reviews, integration, test, deployment, sustainment, and DevOps/CI/CD practices. The position requires significant prior software development and management experience, a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Clearance.
