Description
AWS is hiring an Infrastructure Operations (Data Center) Engineer to maintain and optimize critical data center systems, including switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution, cooling, fire, and building monitoring systems. The role covers routine and emergency maintenance, rack and power/cooling provisioning, contractor and vendor management, performance analysis, change and incident management, capacity planning, and projects to improve facility reliability, safety, sustainability, and efficiency. The position is based in the Melbourne data center region and requires at least two years of relevant experience, with data center engineering experience and a relevant engineering degree preferred.
