Description
AWS is hiring an Infrastructure Operations (Data Center) Engineer to maintain and optimize critical data center systems, including switch-gear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution, cooling, fire, and building monitoring systems. The role covers routine and emergency maintenance, rack and power/cooling provisioning, contractor and vendor management, performance analysis, change and incident management, capacity planning, and projects to improve facility reliability, safety, sustainability, and efficiency. The position requires at least two years of relevant experience, physical work at heights and on uneven terrain, and preferably four or more years of data center engineering experience plus a relevant engineering degree.
