Description
Google is hiring a Technical Operations Manager to oversee co-location operations for electrical, cooling, and IT infrastructure. The role partners with engineering, hardware, network, and third-party vendor teams to ensure operability, maintainability, and reliability; leads testing, validation, compliance, monitoring, risk control, maintenance, cost reduction, and emergency response for data center systems; and supports facility and environmental standards. The position requires an associate's degree, trade certification, or equivalent training, plus 9 years of industrial or commercial electrical, mechanical/HVAC, or controls/automation experience and 5 years of program or project management experience in mission-critical facilities.
