Description
SGS is hiring a Technical Operator Assistant to support the Technical Operator in conducting isokinetic and opacity measurements in the Chuquicamata Division, Calama, with ongoing field activities in the Smelting Management area. The role involves preparing materials, assembling and transporting equipment, installing and removing sampling systems, inspecting and cleaning instruments, recording field information, and following technical, quality, safety, and environmental procedures. Candidates need secondary education or a mid- or higher-level technician qualification in a related field, at least three years of mining experience, environmental measurement and fieldwork experience, occupational health and safety knowledge, and availability for the Chuquicamata Division.
