Description
The Research and Development Laboratory Technician supports technicians, chemists, and scientists in an assigned research and development group by performing laboratory tests, preparing samples and materials, conducting technical development and analyses, documenting results, and maintaining equipment. The role requires a current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, pursuit of a STEM-related bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree, a high school diploma or equivalent, laboratory safety knowledge, Microsoft Word and Excel skills, and strong communication skills. Preferred qualifications include sophomore or junior standing, a degree in coatings, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or polymer science, prior laboratory experience, and local candidacy. The position is not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.
