Vast.ai is hiring a Technical Product Manager to own the backend infrastructure, security, reliability, scalability, observability, and compliance roadmap for its GPU cloud marketplace. The role bridges engineering and product, translating non-functional requirements into specifications, tracking platform uptime, fleet reliability, and cost-to-serve, and supporting systems such as host daemons, orchestration, databases, APIs, and infrastructure tooling. Candidates should have substantial backend engineering and product management experience, familiarity with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure, and experience in a fast-paced startup or growth team. The position is on-site in Los Angeles and offers a $170,000–$240,000 base salary plus equity and comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
