Description

The Technical Production Engineer at Rondo Starline ensures the efficient operation, troubleshooting, and optimization of the production line. This role focuses on technical expertise, operational leadership, and people management to achieve continuous and smooth production processes. Key responsibilities include overseeing routine maintenance, diagnosing and resolving mechanical/electrical issues, calibrating machines, implementing quality control, and continuously improving production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a high-volume bakery production environment, with hands-on involvement in the use of automated systems.
Preferred Qualifications: Good understanding of preventive Maintenance

Broad understanding of the core operations of Fast Moving Goods
Knowledge of People Management
Very Good Communication Skills
Expertise in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software issues on production machinery, and making on-the-spot decisions to minimize downtime.
Ability to identify root causes of production issues (e.g., incorrect dough consistency, machine malfunctions) and resolve them efficiently.
Familiarity with data collection systems (MES, SCADA) and the ability to interpret production data to make decisions on optimizing machine performance or adjusting workflows.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, quality control, and operations personnel.
Strong leadership skills to train, manage, and supervise production staff or shift teams on the pastry line.
