Nyrstar is hiring a Zinc Foundry Operator to work in the foundry department, the final stage of zinc production. The role involves melting zinc, preparing it according to customer recipes, pouring and removing molds, ensuring smooth casting, adjusting the process as needed, transporting zinc blocks with a forklift, and suggesting process improvements. The operator will work with liquid zinc, use appropriate personal protective equipment, and follow a five-shift schedule. The position offers a gross base salary of €3,862 per month, shift and additional allowances, travel reimbursement, an end-of-year bonus, holiday pay, pension accrual, and prospects of a permanent contract.
