Scale is hiring a Technical Program Manager to lead technical delivery for a consequential Public Sector program serving Department of War commands. The role owns the technical shape of AI-enabled planning and decision-support solutions, plans releases, manages technical risk, translates operational needs into delivery decisions, and leads a team of Technical Program Managers. Responsibilities include building and improving AI systems using computer vision and generative AI, partnering with engineering and operations, and driving reusable technical capabilities. The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance, at least seven years of stakeholder or customer-facing experience, leadership experience, a technical background, ML operations knowledge, software delivery and DevOps familiarity, and 25–50% travel. The Washington DC base salary range is $199,200–$249,000 USD, with equity and benefits.
