Description

Lam is hiring a Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional teams through the development and release of new or upgraded products. The role owns technical projects from initiation through delivery, manages sourcing strategies and supplier readiness, transitions products from pilot to volume production, monitors costs and product cost roadmaps, resolves cost discrepancies, and provides DFx feedback to engineering. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with 3+ years, or a PhD with no prior professional experience, plus 3+ years in continuous improvement or technical program management. The position offers hybrid work models and a California San Francisco Bay Area salary range of $86,000 to $192,000.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or a PhD with no previous professional experience, or equivalent experience
Required Previous Experiences: 3+ years of experience in continuous improvement or technical program management
Experience guiding cross-functional teams and demonstrating influence skills to deliver results
Preferred Qualifications: Experience or knowledge of semiconductor fabrication, semiconductor equipment operations, or related industries
Knowledge of program management methods and Product Development & Release procedures
Relevant project management certification such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and SAP
Ability to read and interpret product Bill of Materials
Direct experience leading cross-functional teams
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Leadership, strategic thinking, and attention to detail
Knowledge of manufacturing methods and commodities related to cost structure
Familiarity with project management software and tools
Knowledge of change management methodologies
