DeepMind is hiring a Technical Program Manager for its Compute Planning team to plan and manage its large-scale ML hardware portfolio. The role leads compute fleet planning, optimizes CPU, RAM, and TPU workloads, balances costs and utilization with research velocity, partners with Finance, Engineering, and Research, and helps debug infrastructure bottlenecks and improve internal AI tooling. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience, five years of technical program management experience in infrastructure or AI, and experience with Python and SQL.
