Shield AI is hiring a Technical Program Manager for its Port Melbourne team to lead the development, integration, and deployment of AI pilots across autonomous UAV, USV, and UUV systems. The role manages complex engineering programmes from concept through field testing and deployment, oversees contractual and customer deliverables, coordinates with defence and government stakeholders, tracks earned value and programme health, mitigates risks, and supports business development. Candidates need significant experience in complex engineering or technology programme management, including 0→1 product development, Australian Defence Force experience, commercial project-financial knowledge, and proficiency with project management tools.
