Description

The Technical Program Manager leads the development, deployment, and sustainment of mechanical cooling systems and related controls for AWS data centers. The role plans global and regional product readiness, coordinates cross-functional engineering, hardware, software, supply chain, and operations teams, and manages large-scale technical programs through scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical-path disciplines. Candidates need at least seven years of engineering-team experience, five years of technical product or program management experience, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science discipline.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an IT-related discipline
Required Previous Experiences: 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
Experience leading complex technical programs for mechanical cooling or controls systems in large commercial, industrial, or mission-critical buildings
5+ years of technical product or program management and project management experience, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical-path management
Preferred Qualifications: 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
Experience defining KPIs and SLAs for multi-million-dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering focused on thermal or cooling solutions
