The Technical Program Manager will independently lead reinforcement learning research workstreams for Gemini, translating hypotheses into roadmaps and experiment plans, coordinating with research scientists and engineers, managing distributed training pipelines and compute allocations, resolving cross-functional dependencies, and establishing operational rhythms for experiments and model milestones. The role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience, plus five years of technical program management experience; preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, cross-functional AI program leadership, distributed training expertise, process design ability, and strong communication skills. Compensation is $217,000–$236,000 USD plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
