Google is hiring a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering programs for its Core team, which builds foundational infrastructure, developer platforms, product components, and systems. The role manages large-scale infrastructure scaling programs, requirements, schedules, risks, roadmaps, reporting, and technical trade-offs while coaching senior technical program managers and communicating with engineering and product leadership. The position requires a technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 10 years of technical program management experience, and experience in cloud infrastructure, software engineering, technical leadership, and people management. Preferred experience includes AI-assisted development, machine learning infrastructure, agentic automation, software infrastructure, capability planning, and architectural trade-off analysis. The role is based in San Jose, California, or New York, New York, with compensation of $240,000–$333,000 USD plus a 25% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
