Description
The role performs detailed design and modification of safety systems for offshore projects, covering passive and active fire protection, area classification, ignition-source control, fire and gas detection, escape and evacuation, safety integrity levels, fluid groups, PED, working and environmental engineering, and interdisciplinary coordination. It also supports risk and verification activities, cost and plan activities, client and vendor follow-up, and engineering support. The position requires a technical safety or related degree, 5–10 years of relevant offshore design and modification experience in Norway, knowledge of Ptil, ISO, and NORSOK standards, and strong Norwegian and English communication skills. It is based in Bergen with a planned start date of 07/09/2026 and end date of 28/02/2028.
