Description

Lunar Energy is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to provide remote support to channel partners and Field Service Engineers, serving as a subject-matter expert on Lunar products. This role involves monitoring the fleet to proactively address site issues, analyzing telemetry data, and recommending improvements. The position is primarily based in Mountain View, requiring some local and national travel.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Engineering degree or equivalent hands-on technical field experience.
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years designing and installing residential solar, battery, and/or EV charging systems.
Preferred Qualifications: Electrical Journeyman certification or license preferred; solid knowledge of the NEC and applicable codes.
Ability to read single-line drawings, permit packages, and technical specs for PV and ESS systems (EVSE a plus).
Comfortable interpreting device telemetry and spotting anomalies in large data sets.
Strong troubleshooting skills for complex electrical issues; familiarity with interconnection and AHJ processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office/G-Suite.
Flexible schedule (including occasional weekends/holidays) and willingness to travel, primarily within your local region.
