Description

Aligned Data Centers is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to support site operations across new campus design, mechanical systems operations, incident root-cause analysis, training, vendor management, maintenance optimization, troubleshooting, reliability, and operational excellence. The role reviews capital projects and drawings, develops operational standards and training, analyzes performance and failure data, supports data center audits and incident recovery, evaluates new technologies, and provides technical leadership to customers and senior leadership. The position may travel up to 30% and requires extensive mechanical industry experience, preferably with a related bachelor’s degree.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 8+ years of relevant mechanical industry or mechanical trade experience
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 4+ years of relevant mechanical industry experience
Advanced experience interpreting construction drawings and equipment specifications
Ability to analyze critical infrastructure operations, design parameters, alarms, indicators, and performance trends
Experience across the data center operations lifecycle, including design, acceptance, operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and event management
Expertise creating standards and programs for best-in-breed data center operations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service acumen
Travel up to 30%
