Wabtec is hiring a full-time MCA Platform Software Engineer to work on-site in Contagem, Minas Gerais. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, testing, and sustaining board support packages, core platform services, middleware applications, and related software for the MCA architecture. Responsibilities include technical leadership, requirements and interface definition, hardware/software integration, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and invention disclosures. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or another engineering discipline, strong software engineering experience, embedded Linux and device-driver experience, knowledge of Linux kernel internals, and proficiency with C/C++, Bash, Python, and Docker.
