Description
Ford is hiring a Technical Expert (LL6) to lead the in-house design, manufacturing-process delivery, tooling feasibility, and process optimization for suspension structural components, including stampings, castings, and forgings. The role covers engineering foundations, DFMEA/PFMEA and control plans, GD&T, CAE and manufacturing simulations, APQP, OK-to-Build and OK-to-Ship reviews, test-facility correlation, prototype support, capability analysis, and root-cause problem resolution. It requires a BS in Engineering, 10 years of chassis structural design and engineering experience, and extensive suspension-component experience; occasional travel to assembly plants and global chassis engineering centers is required. The position is remote and does not offer visa sponsorship.
