Lucid is hiring a Technical Specialist of Battery Safety to establish and enforce battery safety standards across R&D and production. The role owns HV battery RESS requirements, leads system-level safety analyses, supports global regulatory compliance, coordinates with vehicle, pack, manufacturing, service, and validation teams, manages thermal runaway and manufacturing safety topics, maintains safety dashboards, represents the company in industry standards committees, and mentors engineers. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience, 6–10+ years of HV battery, functional safety, or vehicle safety experience, and familiarity with safety analysis tools and global regulations. The position offers a base annual salary of $166,500–$244,200 USD and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
