Description
Lucid is hiring a Technical Specialist, CAE Crashworthiness to evaluate full-vehicle crashworthiness through high- and low-speed simulations, generate design recommendations, build high-fidelity CAE models from CAD data, prepare analysis reports, correlate CAE results with physical tests, conduct DOE/DFSS optimization studies, develop standard procedures, and mentor junior engineers. The role requires at least eight years of full-vehicle crashworthiness CAE experience, knowledge of global safety regulations, strong analytical and communication skills, advanced LS-DYNA and related tool proficiency, Python scripting, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
