Lucid is hiring a Coverstock Engineer to own coverstock materials, application, and processing from concept through product launch. The role leads material selection, qualification, design optimization, testing, DFM, and process improvements for automotive seating and trim, while collaborating with design, supply chain, quality, legal, and external vendors. It requires a relevant bachelor’s degree, at least 8 years of automotive coverstock experience, and hands-on knowledge of polymers, textiles, secondary processes, and material characterization. The position offers a base annual salary of $166,500 to $244,200 USD and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
