Description
Lucid is hiring a Coverstock Engineer to own coverstock materials, application, and processing from concept through product launch. The role leads material selection, qualification, design optimization, testing, DFM, and process improvements for automotive seating and trim, while collaborating with design, supply chain, quality, legal, and external vendors. It requires a relevant bachelor’s degree, at least 8 years of automotive coverstock experience, knowledge of polymers and textile materials, and hands-on experience with secondary processes.
