Description

Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring a Senior Ethernet PHY Designer in Cork to develop multi-gigabit T1 Ethernet PHY products. The role covers RTL design, digital ASIC architecture, functional and bit-matching verification, pre-silicon FPGA emulation, synthesis, STA, test, silicon bring-up, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree, at least 12 years of digital ASIC design experience, RTL coding experience, and knowledge of high-speed, asynchronous, low-power, and digital IC design flows; automotive and industrial Ethernet standards experience is desirable.
