Description
Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring a Staff Engineer-Validation to lead validation strategies and test plans for high-speed networking and connectivity devices, including Ethernet switches, USB 3.2 hubs, PCI-Express devices, and automotive Ethernet PHYs. The role owns lab-based design bring-up, characterization, interoperability testing, test environments, debug workflows, customer issue reproduction, and cross-functional collaboration, while mentoring junior engineers and improving validation processes. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline, at least 12 years of relevant design or testing experience, strong communication and organization skills, and familiarity with electronics laboratory equipment.
