Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking an experienced Ethernet Protocol Verification Engineer to develop and execute verification strategies for Ethernet MAC, PCS, and PHY in next-generation FPGA designs. The role involves defining verification specifications and plans, performing simulation-based functional verification with System Verilog and UVM, debugging RTL against design intent, managing verification activities, and mentoring engineers. It requires extensive functional verification experience, strong Ethernet and protocol knowledge, scripting and HDL skills, and familiarity with coverage-driven and assertion-based methodologies.
