Description
The Technical Staff Member supports the crematorium’s technical processes by handling caskets, recording deaths, preparing transport trolleys, issuing urns, operating and monitoring furnace systems, preparing ashes, and assisting with system maintenance. The role requires technical understanding, reliability, teamwork, and a respectful approach toward deceased persons, relatives, and funeral service providers, and is performed in a three-shift system from Monday to Friday. The position is based at Crematorium Berlin-Ruhleben and offers an annual salary of 36,700–39,700 under the TVL collective bargaining agreement.
