Description
Serko is seeking a highly experienced Technical Director for Data Engineering to define and drive the technical strategy for their global Data Engineering function. The role involves designing, building, and evolving multi-cloud data platforms across Azure and Google Cloud, leveraging Snowflake and BigQuery for data warehousing, and creating scalable data pipelines. The director will collaborate with various internal teams to ensure data solutions are performant, secure, and compliant, while also championing best practices in governance, observability, and engineering quality. Additionally, they will lead and mentor data engineers worldwide, translating long-term data strategies into actionable initiatives.
