Synopsys is hiring a Senior Technical Support Engineer (Fluid Dynamics) to support customers with complex CFD and thermal simulation problems using Synopsys and Ansys Fluids products. The role involves diagnosing convergence and setup issues, guiding customers through simulation workflows, creating technical documentation, contributing to process and product-improvement initiatives, and evaluating AI-generated support responses. It requires a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline, hands-on experience with commercial CAE tools, strong fluid-dynamics and numerical-methods knowledge, and U.S. citizenship for ITAR and export-control requirements. The position is remote-eligible, based in Pennsylvania, and offers a base salary of $76,000 to $114,000 plus potential bonus, equity, and other benefits.
