Eversource is hiring one regular Field Training Specialist to develop and deliver technical classroom and on-the-job training for Field Communication and Field Engineering employees. The role analyzes training needs, instructs and evaluates trainees, maintains training standards, participates in testing and quality assurance, and provides operational input on new equipment and construction standards. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related discipline, at least five years of utility transmission, distribution, substation, field engineering, testing, maintenance, construction, or related operations experience, and knowledge of electricity substations, safety standards, and business processes. The position requires emergency restoration availability and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire, and offers an annual salary of $133,290 to $148,100 with a potential incentive.
