Description

GDIT is seeking a Technical Writer - 508 Document Specialist to join their team to support Federal Electronic Health Records Modernization (EHRM) program activities. The role involves reviewing and editing project deliverables such as technical documents, policies, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) specifically in the areas of 508 compliance. This is a fully remote position requiring obtaining and maintaining a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related technical or clinical field.
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of related experience.
Experience with 508 technical writing.
Experience editing material for punctuation, grammar, and content.
Preferred Qualifications: Cerner/Oracle Health experience.
Experience with Indian Health Service (IHS), Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), and/or Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) projects and documentation standards.
Ability to handle small group projects as well as occasionally take the lead on large projects.
Working knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) standards & practices.
Strong and effective communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
