Description
The Technical Writer supports end users by analyzing information-support requirements and writing and upgrading product documentation, including operations and maintenance manuals. The role involves interpreting mechanical designs, 3D models, 2D drawings, schematics, and bills of materials; creating clear illustrations from CAD models; and validating documentation through user observation and interviews. It requires a bachelor’s degree in professional or technical writing or a technical field, at least three years of technical writing or similar experience focused on aerospace tooling design and automated equipment, Adobe InDesign experience, and proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud. The position offers a $75,000–$100,000 salary, overtime eligibility, and may require a government security clearance and U.S. citizenship or qualifying immigration status.
