Description
Cloudsmith is hiring a Technical Writer to join its documentation team and report to a Senior Technical Writer. The role owns documentation for specific product areas, including package registries, artifact management, software supply chain security, and the DevSecOps ecosystem. Responsibilities include writing technical guides and best-practice content, creating multimedia assets, editing and publishing documentation, collaborating with product, engineering, customer success, sales, and partners, and prioritizing content improvements. The position requires at least five years of technical writing experience, proficiency in HTML and Markdown, familiarity with docs-as-code and git workflows, and working knowledge of package management, artifact registries, or DevOps toolchains. Candidates must be based in Ireland, the United Kingdom, or the United States and have the right to work independently without sponsorship.
