Description

ITAC is seeking a Technical Writer to develop, maintain, validate, and improve technical documentation for various engineering, manufacturing, operations, maintenance, and program execution activities. The role involves close collaboration with subject matter experts, engineers, and project teams to translate complex technical information into user-friendly documentation. The Technical Writer will also conduct procedure walkdowns to ensure procedural accuracy and identify process improvement opportunities.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Five (5) years of experience developing, editing, and maintaining technical documentation in manufacturing, engineering, shipbuilding, defense, aerospace, government, nuclear, or other highly technical environment.
Demonstrated experience creating and revising operating procedures, work instructions, maintenance manuals, process documentation, and other technical publications.
Experience conducting procedure walkdowns, field observations, or validation reviews to verify procedural accuracy and compliance with operational requirements.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong editing, proofreading, grammar, and document management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Experience working with document control systems and revision management processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
