Telesat is hiring a Technical Writer to support the User Terminal Engineering team for its Lightspeed satellite network. The role develops, maintains, and improves engineering documentation across the product lifecycle, including requirements, interface, design, verification, installation, commissioning, and service documents. The writer will collaborate with engineering, product, supplier, and internal stakeholders; manage document reviews, version control, configuration management, and documentation workflows; and improve documentation quality, reuse, and accessibility using tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, Jama, and AI tools. The position requires a college diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least six years of technical documentation experience, and an office presence four days per week in Canada.
