TechFlow is hiring a Technical Writer / Documentation Specialist in Montgomery, Alabama to support a mission-critical Department of Defense software development and modernization program. The role creates and maintains technical documentation across the software development lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, user guides, operational procedures, ETL documentation, SOPs, release notes, and acquisition artifacts. The writer will collaborate with software engineers, architects, DevSecOps engineers, testers, and program leadership; maintain version-controlled documentation repositories; establish documentation standards; support risk management; and use Government-approved generative AI and digital authoring tools. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least three years of technical writing experience supporting DoD software development or modernization programs, familiarity with DoD acquisition and software lifecycle documentation, and an active Secret Security Clearance.
