The Standardisation Technical Writer will develop and revise technical documentation for NOV Rig Technologies, collaborating with engineering and technical experts to produce accurate, user-friendly documents such as quality plans, condition assessments, and inspection procedures. The role also involves verifying compliance with standards, performing document-control and approval-workflow tasks, identifying documentation issues, reporting progress and risks, and proposing process improvements. Required qualifications include an engineering-related discipline or equivalent experience, knowledge of mechanical engineering drawings and specifications, heavy-machinery overhaul or inspection experience, English communication skills, and Microsoft Office proficiency; project management, document-control, and electrical or instrumentation knowledge are desirable.
