Description
TerraForm Power is hiring a Technician 2, Wind for onsite work at Kahuku Wind Power in Kahuku, Hawaii. The role performs advanced preventative and corrective maintenance on wind turbines and electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and PLC systems; supports medium- and high-voltage switching and substation equipment; maintains documentation; monitors contractors; participates in on-call coverage; and mentors Level 1 technicians. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of utility-scale wind maintenance experience, the ability to climb 90-meter turbines and lift up to 50 pounds, a valid driver's license, Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to obtain required safety certifications.
